Forced Hot Air oil Furnace
Does anyone have a link where I could buy a forced hot air oil furnace online?
Mine is about 40 years old. I got it used, and would like to get a new one.
Most suppliers around here have cornered the market on them and want people to have a licence. Altho a couple of years ago, Home Depot carried them temp.
Any help would be appreciated.

Why would a home owner be required to have a license to operate his furnace ?

Install, not operate. I'd check with my insurance carrier to be sure I wasn't messin' with my coverage.

You can buy one of these online. Before you do it, you might want to line up an installer. Another poster is right. You might be jeopardizing your coverage if you get an unlicensed installer and don't get it inspected. However, it is done often and you can save 1000's depending on how big or complicated your system is.
