Rust Disease

I notice a couple of weeks ago after walking through the lawn my shoes had an orange dust all over them. Over the next week it seemed to be getting worse. Now it is happening on the entire 2 acres of the lawn. After doing some searches on the Internet, it looks like I have Rust Disease. I cannot find a solution multiple people agree on. Has anyone else had Rust disease on their lawn? If so, what did you do to correct the problem? I live in Northwest Illinios and I just seeded my lawn last summer and fall. It is a mix of bluegrass, fescue and rye. I am going to call the Illinios Home Extension office to see if they have any suggestions.
