Welcome, always want to see pictures of the dogs.
Hank I am about 35 miles from Tyler, was raise in a town called Martins Mill.....
Tammy, it's pretty down there, the piney woods and all. I never actually lived in Tyler, my sister and my Mom did. We grew up in Longview and Texarkana when we were younger. Used to like to go over the the first Mondays in Canton when I visited Tyler. Which direction are you 35 miles from Tyler?
Here's a picture of my Buddy.

You have a great looking buddy! Looks like yours has the run of the house the same as ours does. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, Inspector!
You buddy looks a lot like one of mine. What breed is yours? I tell folks mine is an American Eskimo because I've seen dogs looking like here in a show about dog sledding and that's what they said they were.
See attachment.
When we got him, they said he was a Shepard-Retreiver mix. The vet thinks there is some Chow hidden in there somewhere. He is a fantastic friend though, whatever he is.
Jerry
I was told mine is a Chow/Husky mix.
Amazing how much they look alike. Even down to the "britches on the rear legs.
Mine is a stray rescue for the Ford assembly plant in KC, MO. Great dog with a wonderful disposition.
