Yeah, but others had not picked up on it so i assumed wuss must be an aussie word.
I tried my best to get the dealer to take the plates back and change them, but to no avail. I think we will always remember the number plate for ever, i am sure i will cop plenty from the locals

Re: Kia
Wuss is used a lot here in the states. I'll let y'all figure out the connotation!

Re: Kia
That's what I thought the plate said until I looked closer and saw that it says WU 5 . Nice to see someone else needs reading glasses.

Re: Kia
KIA is one of those names that just doesn't work for me. The word is synonymous with Killed In Action, and brings back unpleasant memories. But that's my baggage. They appear to be decent vehicles.

Re: Kia
I hadn't thought of that. Then again I had only heard "MIA" used in the forces way.
I must admit I'd never buy one either, instead sticking to the more well known brands. Maybe when they have had more time "on the ground" so to speak.
The earlier hyundais here were terrible but they got their act together. I don't think their build quality is still top notch, but they are priced right.
Then again I am the fool who is waiting THREE MONTHS for my new Toyota to turn up...............

Yes there are many big fires burning in NSW around the Sydney area. No fire near us here, and I don't beleive any near Neil either.

Re: Kia
You know it's big when it hits our news here (local channel).
Are you in summer? That's usually our prime fire season, too.
