IBM 360, what a clalsical example of what can go wrong on a project.. Did yo read Brooks' "Mythical Man Month" which drew on his experience on the 360? It is truly worth a read by anyone involved with software development or for that matter in project management.

I realize that I jumping in at the end of this thread, but I just found a decent CAD package for a reasonable price.
The package is called DeltaCAD Professional. DeltaCAD Homepage
They have a 45 day demo available to download, and the full version of the program costs only $39.95.
I downloaded it a few days ago, and I'm happy with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't read native AutoCAD files (it will read DXF).
