Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
Email them and act like you are interested and they'll send you a video. The video is of all their mills and the wood buddy is at the end of the video. It don't cost anything and you get a good tape to record over later.

Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
I got it a couple days ago and I am in love. My wife says it'll be months before the new is worn off it and then maybe she can get me to do some things around the house. Heres a picture.

Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
Looks nice! Lets see some photos of it in operation. Where are you located, I'm in Warrenton.
Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
I bought some 4" channel and built a frame for it to sit on,so it does'nt have to be on a trailer. It works alot better now. School is out friday here and maybe this weekend I will have a little help and I can get some working pictures. I an in Anabel,it is barely east of Macon,a wide spot in the road with only one stop sign.
Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
The mayor of Macon, Dale Bagley, is a fellow amateur radio operator and friend of mine.
Might be in town in early June for a radio swap meet.

Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
From the pics, it looks like you already have a mill started in the background.
How is the new one working out for you?
Price looks right.
Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
Chris,
Now that you have had your mill for a while, are you happy with it? Would you have done anything differently if you were purchasing one now? I have about 10 acres of hard and soft wood and would like to buy a small one like the Woodbuddy if I thought I could make my $ back by selling some wood.
Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
I didn't even notice the background. I have an old curtis circular mill(in pieces now) I can't run the circular mill by myself, thats why I got the band rig. I really like it.
I had to have a piece on the engine warrantied and the folks at Baker were great. If I had it to do over again,I would have got the bigger 9 hp engine instead of the 5. Even though the 5 cuts fine,it runs wide open when cutting and I don't expect it to last very long working that hard.
Re: Bought a bandsaw mill
Do you have any pictures of it in operation?
I WANT ONE
