Egon, where you live you need to look for this type.
Coincidence....I was sitting here reading a catalog from a company called Tomato Growers Supply company, which must have most of the many varieties of tomatoes. They list 24 "early season" varieties, which I assume might do better than some in cooler climates. One is called "glacier", another is "Oregon Spring V", and then there's "Gregori's Altai", which is said to be of Siberian origin. Their web site is www.tomatogrowers.com.

You know.....I think I'm in zone 5. Ah well, if they don't have a tomato to suit, one probably doesn't exist. Great pepper selection, too.
