Anybody make their own home wet bar???
This will be a project of mine later this year...but eventually I'll be looking to construct a 10' long bar with sink, hot/cold water, mini fridge and under bar cabinets.....and if anybody has any ideas on their perfect set up I would be interested in your thoughts. This will be in my "game room" which will have a dart board and 9' pool table with a flat screen TV on a wall behind or at the end of the bar itself. My fabrication skills are minimal but I can follow plan instructions.....has anybody done this and perhaps have a source for plans?

Re: Anybody make their own home wet bar???
Here is a built-in one I did in my family room. It was kind of designed and built on the fly as I went. Top and foot rest are made of oak hardwood flooring. The sides are laminated wood flooring. Trim on corners is chair rail and stair hand rail. Framing was done with standard 2x4 lumber and 5/8 plywood. The house was designed with a bar in mind for this side wall or it could have been turned into an entertainment closet.
The refrig with tap is a Sears Kenmore unit made for this purpose and will hold a 1/2 barrel + CO2 cylinder but I usually use only 1/4 barrels. Sink is a standard bar sink from Home Depot. The other refrig under the built-in glass cabinet is a standard small dorm room model. Tile floor and tile backsplash was standard off the shelf materials.

MAD...thanx for the pics! How long is your bar?? Looks as though 3 can seat fairly well...but do you think it would be a bit close if the 3 stools had arm rests?
Re: Anybody make their own home wet bar???
It's 68" x 33". Three stools with arm rests would fit ok.
