Sports in school
Does anyone see that a lot of school sports are just unfair. Lately I've noticed that if you have "a name" you get to play more often. It isn't so much about the skill anymore. I'm not even talking about my kids, I notice on the high school football team. It's sick to me.

It's been like that for years where I'm from. I think a lot of factors play a part in it besides playing favoritism to the "names," though that certainly does appear to be a large factor.

Here too and it's really sad. It's like it's expected! If you were a good player in school and you were popular, your kids will make the team. I wish just once they would play kids by their skill level. I don't see it as much as college.

My ten year old daughter played in softball last year and the coach was very fair. She's best friends with the coach's daughter, but he rotated all the players equally.

Here its a little different as were lucky to have enough that want to play, but if you are good you become like a god to people, which hurts the player because they are deflated once they graduate.
