Homemade cheese

Any of you makes your own cheese? I kinda think that homemade cheese is healthier than the store-bought one. I would love to make my own cheese but I don't know how.

I have been researching for some easy recipes to try my hand at cheese making. I will post when I have my first successful try.

I used the Bare Bones recipe add a pint of heavy or whipping cream. (See Cheese Milk in link.)

Ended up with a cheese that had very little flavor.

Wow, thanks so much guys for sharing the links. That's all what I need. I didn't think that making your own cheese can be so easy (I mean that is explained in the second link). So we can use either white vinegar or lemon juice, right? Which is better?

I have never even thought of making my own cheese. I will definitely have to check out those links though. I wonder how it would taste in comparison?

I have honestly never even been that much of a cheese eater, though I must admit that I am consuming more of it now than ever before, but still not much. I do agree though that if you know how, most anything is healthier homemade.

Yes, homemade cheese is way healthier that the cheese available on the market. Consuming homemade cheese, we don't need to worry about the preservatives and other chemicals they may have added in the store-bought cheese.
