Loco Weed
We are living in Chile, South America and the land we bought has a lot of loco weed on it. In fact, we recently found out that over time several horses have died by accidentally eating some of it. Is there any way to get rid of it without using harsh chemicals?

There are many different plants that are called LOCO weed. So what you call loco weed is probably not what I call loco weed. Here in Arizona what we call loco weed is JIMSON weed. It grows about 3 feet tall and spreads out over a large area It has large pretty White flowers. The only way to kill it is to poision it. Roundup works fine. It has large tubular roots and is almost impossible to dig up. Look here for different types of loco weed.

We also use Roundup to get rid of unwanted weeds, not only loco weeds. I didn't know there are so many types of loco weeds. They look so beautiful in pictures, jimbrown. It seems a shame to kill them.
