What type of pump for a well in the middle of a field?

At my WV cabin, I found a well along side a field. There's no pump, no electric source. I need to get the water pumped up from the well. I have a portable generator that I can use to power a pump, but I'm trying to figure out which type of pump would work best. I checked out a jet pump, but I believe that needs to be primed with water before turning it on (however, I don't have a way to get the water up from the well to prime the pump). Ideally, I'd like to just have a generator and a pump that I can drive over to the well, drop a line down in the well fire up the generator, turn on the pump and get water.

This isn't a life or death matter, but trying to get ready for family day out at my property. Next to this well, I have a nice big field where we plan to build a giant slip-n-slide, kiddie pool kick ball field (see video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSZJvJ0kg6o)


Anyone have any suggestions on which type of pump would work?
