    Re: chickens and ducks

Most feed stores, and I know Tractor Supply for a few weeks in the early spring(before Easter) will stock chicks and ducklings. We got half dozen layer chicks from TS and the ladies of the house...

Re: Can You Join Two Seperate Dug Wells?

Due to a heavy clay soil and real slow recovery I have two wells feeding my house. They're not close to each other so there are two seperate lines that come into one in the basement. One common turn...

Re: Injector Cleaner for 1999 Silverado with 5.3L

One maintenance item I do every other oil change is to shoot some throttle body cleaner in. There's a sensor on the throttle body that gets a carbon film and can give goofy readings to the onbard...

Re: Service 4WD light on 1999 Silverado

Dan, getting into the dash is so simple it's spooky. It's just held on with clips and plastic "fingers". Grab an edge and yank, turn the key to the "on" position to unlock the gearshift, move it down...

Re: Service 4WD light on 1999 Silverado

Assuming you have the push button 4x4 selector, it just may be a loose connection in the dash. Check to see if all the little yellow indicator lights are lit, or if while you're driving, it dims or...

Re: 1997 Chevy/GMC pickup with an AUTOMATIC

I had a '97 Silverado Excab and did have a strange tranny problem. Sometimes, but not always when you would run at normal speeds for 10-15 minutes then stop at a stop sign, pulling out it would shift...

Re: Please tell me about dogs

Before you buy a dog, do the animal a favor and get the kids a fish. A dog requires lots of attention. If you keep the dog inside you'll have to "get home" to feed them, and let them out. Going away...

    Re: Vehicle Thermometers

My '91 Corvette had it stuffed in the front cowl, below the air inlets. It was a surprise to match it's numbers with a digital thermometer, they were within 1/2 degree.

Re: GM Truck Daytime Running Lights

It might be due to the manufacture year/country. Some GM pup's and suv's were put together in Canada, others in the States. The Canadian ones required DRL's before the stateside ones did. I found...
