Due to a heavy clay soil and real slow recovery I have two wells feeding my house. They're not close to each other so there are two seperate lines that come into one in the basement. One common turn...
A third person with hepatitis A, which has affected 410 people resulting from the Chi-Chi's outbreak died early today at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Chi-Chi’s Chief...
Danny, There are more “fixes†for this problem than you can shake a stick at. So whoever you talk to, it’s mechanical or it’s...
One maintenance item I do every other oil change is to shoot some throttle body cleaner in. There's a sensor on the throttle body that gets a carbon film and can give goofy readings to the onbard...
I think one of the three little pigs built and lived in one.
Dan, getting into the dash is so simple it's spooky. It's just held on with clips and plastic "fingers". Grab an edge and yank, turn the key to the "on" position to unlock the gearshift, move it down...
Assuming you have the push button 4x4 selector, it just may be a loose connection in the dash. Check to see if all the little yellow indicator lights are lit, or if while you're driving, it dims or...
I had a '97 Silverado Excab and did have a strange tranny problem. Sometimes, but not always when you would run at normal speeds for 10-15 minutes then stop at a stop sign, pulling out it would shift...
Before you buy a dog, do the animal a favor and get the kids a fish. A dog requires lots of attention. If you keep the dog inside you'll have to "get home" to feed them, and let them out. Going away...
My '91 Corvette had it stuffed in the front cowl, below the air inlets. It was a surprise to match it's numbers with a digital thermometer, they were within 1/2 degree.
It's close to the 50 hour, I think she's got around 40 hours or so on it. I'll do the work myself, a Saturday MULE, Kubota, Jeep maintenance thing. The only issue that may cause you some hesitation...
Had our MULE for 5-6 months now and I have to admit, when the lady saw it and said what a worksaver it would be for her... I thought it was a fluff toy. But that lil booger will work it's tail off,...
"not very playful, don't come when called, etc. All they want to do is lay around...independent, belligerent, not very smart, and seem to have very short memories. "
Geez, sounds like what my...
It might be due to the manufacture year/country. Some GM pup's and suv's were put together in Canada, others in the States. The Canadian ones required DRL's before the stateside ones did. I found...
I got the lady a 4 x 4 MULE a few months ago, and that lil sucker is one of the most useful tools I ever bought. It also serves well as a gocart for playing.
Cat poop. Now there's a topic. I must be lucky, both of our cats who were taken in as stray kittens never left any tootsie rolls anywhere they shouldn't have. They say kittens are "trained" on...
Geezuz, the 12 Ga thru the wall is a spooky reminder of a rented townhouse we were living at. Almost the same happened to us. Some yahoo and his buddy were drinking and firing at a paper plate hung...
Dan,
I think your hitting on the difference in building square footage, and actual living space square footage. The builders deal with hsf since they apply material all the way to those points....
I agree with Cowboydoc. Building yourself is a killer. I did my log home from the land clearing, road installation, utilities, excavating/footer on up, with only 4 friends for the rough in phase....
I think the tiller, while more of an initial expense, would be more useful. Once people know you have the tiller for the tractor there'll always be someone who wants their "smaller" family hobby...
