I used to do a lot of cutting on a bit of land that was mostly vertical. Think helium in the tires would have helped on those uphill pulls?
I think it's just the helium filled tires...
Might have inadvertantly got a bit of crud in the oil tank...plugged up the intake. Just a thought.
Those water lines are a very good argument for the tunnel idea.
Running spare lines through an insulated duct is a band-aid.
