Re: living like a king on a low budget

    Pat,
I took no offense and did not think you meant any. I respect your presence here.

How would one go about a comprehensive study of energy savings devices and appliances? (In addition to...

    Re: gun values online

I also have a JC Higgins model 30. No serial number either.
There was a time that many many firearms did NOT have serial numbers and this must be one of them.

    Re: Mc culloch saw

    Hi Stormy,
In another life I had a big ole Pro-Mac 125. Monster of a saw! Without using the compression release, I kinda think it would have been easier to start a D-9.

    Sorry about the...

    Re: Eye protectioin for plasma

    Thanks Pat,
I was also taught over 40 years ago to grow a mustache so that you knew where to stick your tongue when a spark, dingle berry, or piece of hot slag hit you in the face!

    Re: Eye protectioin for plasma

    Hi Pat,
Even though this thread is well over a year old, I was a weldor in a previous life and learned the plasma operation the hard way.
One of the shop clowns told me to use no eye protection...

Re: Anybody recognize this chainsaw bar?

Yep, they are called "bow bar". There should be a "stop" attached at the point you need to stop the brush or other wood from coming back to the engine area.
