    Re: Barn Poles rotting

The concrete made the poles rot. Concrete holds moisture right against the wood and we all know wood and water don't go together.

    Re: Wildlife Food Plot Mixes

They work great if they have proper soil conditions. It's not too hard to get the soil in better shape (most the time). Just a PH check, some lime and you should be in business.

    On food plots,...

    Re: Electric fencing for deer

You'll not keep the critters out unless you build a 10'+ fence around the property, or build a fence the deer can't see through. A 6' jump from a deer on all fours is nothing... then with the case...

  8. Re: Two coyotes attacked my fat border collie tonight. Advice please!

Back to the donkey and pet dog. A normal pet dog learns quickly about the donkey and will stay away. A coyote visiting has no clue on what about to happen... A turn and kick in the blink of an eye.

My girlfriend's sister bought this mule and it's CRAZY! It was a nice tame animal the night of the sale and they'd noticed it looks to have a hyrenia.

I love my 2003 F-250 Turbo Diesel. I went from a F-150 and there's no comparsion. The F-250 drives better. Gets better mileage than the 5.4 and has so much more power. I towed my 5th wheel out to...

  21. Re: Two coyotes attacked my fat border collie tonight. Advice please!

A 30.06 will mean the end to a coyote at 200 yards. It'll do the trick at 35 yards too. You can't have too much when dispatching a varmit.
