I don't know why hurricane prone areas would even sell them. You may not know exactly where a hurricane will hit from one year to the next, but why take that chance?

I'm sorry to say, but that's going to be a project and a half buddy. Since you live in the house, chemicals like paint thinner are out of the question. Scraping may be your only alternative.
I wouldn't mess with it at all if it's load bearing. I'll take the sturdiness of my house over the looks any day. Are there any non bearing walls you can take out?
We've been thinking of chickens too, and I've got a question.
To get eggs, do you need to have a rooster too? Or are they there just to protect the chickens.
I like to go just to walk around and look at things. Sometimes we run into somebody we know, and sometimes we find that perfect "thing" we've been looking for for years.
We have a "vacation" account also. But usually it involves camping out for a week or so. I guess we just don't like really long plane rides.
The best motivation I can think of is a combination of both wanting and needing to do something. If I have both of those things, my concentration level goes way up.
Your local school supply store should have all the materials you need. All the one's I've been in, for some reason they seem to have more pre-school items then anything else.
I wish. I think I need to move to the southeast. Out where I live it's not as green as I'd like it to be, and people aren't as friendly as I'd like them to be
To me, the country is living out in the woods. Something along the lines of living 5 miles from the nearest town. Population 3,000. Driving 2 miles to get your water from a creek head for cooking,...
We've noticed this too. If bulk the packaging of product is based on the single unit size, it makes you wonder if even that is worth it.
So do I. Let me have the day off, and I won't tell your wife what you did last night :] LOL Actually, we trade veggies for eggs with our neighbor all the time.
Bleach. I'm not a clean freak or anything, but bleach has so many useful purposes, I always keep a good amount around And on top of the cleaning, if you put a capful in a gallon of water, the water...
I think it's the things that companies don't sell a lot of, but they still sell enough to warrant making more, so they save money by not making them as well
I would think a brand name like Avon would be hard to sell because everyone else does it. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. If it were my thing, I'd give it a try.
I think it might be because the majority of the country doesn't show enough interest in it. If gas prices keep rising though, they may change.
I hear stories on the news from time to time about how people have like 50 dogs and 10 goats on their property, and they're all either sick or dying. How many pets do you have?
How many here have found themselves going to thrift stores more and more often to save money? I've been going there for a few years now and I really see the difference.
How many vehicles do you own. I live in the country, and I have 3. One each for the wife and me, and 1 extra just in case 1 has to go in the shop for awhile.
How important is it for your children to be socially interactive when you home school them? Learning to get along with others is a learning experience isn't it?
Why not grill in the winter? It gets just as hot and the meat tastes just as good. So you may have to put a coat on, not a big deal.
Long ago I did. But then I finally got tired of the long lines and the hoards of other people camping, and started doing it when everyone else was at work. It's just a lot more pleasant for me this...
The first this that comes to mind is any or all of the social networking sites. Start finding out what kind of outlets there are for beginners in Nashville. That town pumps out A LOT of songs every...
I don't have any but I was still wondering if you can actually smell Irish Moss? I hear that it's advertised as being a fragrant ground cover.
My neighbor just discovered tiny white flies on one of his plants. The leaves are curling up and she tried spraying a neem oil on it, but doesn't seem to affect them. She's never had this before,...
