personally i would not buy a "leased" vehicle.
i have a 1997 suburban w/93,000 miles on it.bought new.
i do not know if you are aware of all the problems that the auto trannys have.

the anti-locks in my wifes '97 suburban had a problem.
when rolling to a stop the pedal would go to the floor and you would hear the anti-locks surging.
it was pretty scary to drive.

yea, you should've bought a diesel.
then you would have only had to change the fuel,oil and air filter.

i would suspect that you have another appliance or load on the same circuit.
when the truck is plugged in w/the other load on that circuit it trips it.

sounds to me its not the birdfeeder but the squirrels....get a baffle for the poles like the others have said
