One Quarter horse and one Paint Horse.
It's always sad when a good friend passes. But, our pet friends usually have shorter life span, so we say good-bye to our pets and feel helpless!
The scarifier in your pic look the same as the ones I have but it sure does not look like that it's going to fit the rectangular slots. From your pics I would say that you do not have the right...
The BB scarifiers are usually locked in place by a pin. I have a WOODS HB 72 and it has lock mechanisms for group of two scarifiers which is lock in place by a pin. i believe that a pic will tell...
We set the mower at 7" height and usually end up about 4 to 9 inches as the ground of our pastures are not that smooth. One main thing is that we keep the grass from growing seed. We drag the tine...
When we first set up our pasture management program I did some research regarding the same issues you mentioned. The experts came out told us that our horses are wormed on a regular schedule so the...
Thanks for the pointer.
Steve,
My drag harrow (flexible tine harrow) is built by Wingfields (http://www.wingfields.com) with three point attachment and stands. It is the best design I've seen (I did quite a bit research...
Steve,
Drag them forward. Do it after you cut the grass so the manure can spread better. The 45 degree forward mode help thatch the grass and scrach the ground which can help the new growth.
Our deers seem to leave both daffodils and tulip alone. May be the deer repellent I sprayed on my other plants kept them away.
Steve,
I also rotate my horses around pastures. After I move the horses out a pasture I always make sure that the grasses are short before I drag my harrow. Once the manure is spread around, the...

I use tractor to mow the pasture and the garden tractor (riding lawn mower) to mow the lawn in the garden area. My lawn needs to be mowed at least once a week during the growing season. I let the...

I have a Shindaiwa 488 and very happy with it's performance.
Here in Oregon this summer is pretty normal. most of the summer ran between 80 to 100 degrees. Our AC was set at 72 the entire time. This week the weather started to turn cooler down to between...
Thanks and I will check around and check out HD too.
Bird,
Thanks for the reply.
Do you use your tractor a lot during the Fall and Winter? I am planning to do spraying and mowing. May be I can keep those grass in the field and the pasture under...
Craftsman seems to have sold lots of attachments with their garden tractors. Somebody bought them. Egon may be right. Those attachments may be too light weight to do the job.
Thanks.
Not much response here. May be this is wrong question here and be better suited to the "Garden" forum.
I have a large lawn area around the house needing improvement. There are number of problems need to be solved. I am thinking about dethatch, aerate, and over-seed. I have a Craftsman garden...
For 55 gal plastic drum I'd use a screw driver pop open the cap. Under the cap there is a screwed in cap. It will take a proper piece of metal or wood to unscrew the cap.

This is my first post on CBN. I bought a GSD puppy and he is now 4 months old. We treat him as our own grand children and is a loving member of my family. I found the following story on another...
