I just checked and mine is set to 'ON' so that's not it. Mine is set to default the same as on TBN the first time but after I make my first edit the check is removed the following time(s). It seems to be set up differently than TBN that way.

I would like darker horizontal lines between the different posts within a thread. Maybe I'll get used to it with time, but things tend to run together.

The lines between posts are white -- just like TBN -- and each post has a light gray background. If they are blending together, you may want to check your monitor settings (brightness/contrast, etc.)

My TBN display has dark grey, easily visible lines. I am using the "New Holland" theme colors. None of the themes here have similiar dividers. Not really a big deal.

I think it would be good if TBN members who have signed up with the same name/pword could automatically have their profile duplicated here.

I think it is. when I read the post, it said it was made on 11/22/02 at 6:49 am. Now, near your picture is a "registered" date of 9/13/02, telling me that you have been a member of CBN for a little over two months. I think that's the way it works anyway.
