Re: Quarter Horses

Thanks, Curt! I remember Bob and Ray, so I guess I'm old, too! I like it!

But my wife just told me she'd like to name one Ajax, so I said how about Comet for the other. She loves that.

We'll have the cleanest horses in town! They'll be stronger than dirt!

Now, I just can't wait to get our new babies!

So, when its time to clean the stalls, do you become Mr. Clean?

OK, Paul, now you're scaring me! I just told my wife the same thing!

I look forward to meeting you next Saturday, but I'm afraid we may finish each other sentences!

    Re: Quarter Horses

Here's an update on our quater horses. We got them on Friday. They're incredibly sweet and well behaved! Their medical problems are all solved, and now they just need to gain weight. They're pals, and they already get along well with Rosie, our Belgian fillie.

Here's a picture of Leo. He's 10 years old, and a registered American Quarter Horse.

And this is his best friend Chase. The rescue group's vet thinks he's 18, but we'll see what our vet thinks.

    They're both wonderful horses!

    Re: Quarter Horses

The names that the rescue center were using were Leo and Chase. We thought that they had just picked them out, but it turns out they have been named that all their lives, and they answer to those names, so we didn't want to confuse them with new names. These boys have been through enough hard times. Now they can live the good life!!

And our barn will get much fuller. We love horses. We certainly aren't going to stop with three!

Also, my wife is starting to get serious about dairy goats, so I expect we'll be getting them soon. And she wants sheep as well.

We love animals. The only limiting factor is the amount of time it takes to care for them. But...who needs sleep!!
