    Check with your Public Library

Just as a FYI, most Public Libraries have online databases that they subscribe to, and most of these can be accessed by patrons from home. So check with your local library and ask them what online resources they have and if you can access them from home.

Not sure what you are referring to here. What can the library databases access that you cannot find on the Internet today?

Online database do contain inforamtion not available on the internet in general. Not that it is always the case, but published journals contain information that is more reliable the internet in general. There are research journals that simply are not available as well as copyrighted material. Don't take my word for it, talk to a librarian.
