So I have a few acers and lots of stuff grows out here. Sometimes the problem is what is it exactly?
Some of you may not have this problem, but I bet some do.
So how about a weed of the week (or day or month....). I suppose it could be a grass legume tree or vine for that matter. Might be fun....
Feel free to chime in with your known samples or unkown samples.
So here is my first submission a grass (see attached). I think this one is pretty easy?
I'm with you, excellent link to the Missouri weed page in the "hay" topic. I found one of my problem weeds there, Redroot Pigweed, but I still have another invasive weed I'd like identified somehow. I'll get a pic of it this evening.
I bet we have some of the same problems.
Post what ever you have and I will try my best to help identify.
As to the above. What do you think? The leaves look like fescue based on shape. I should tell you that this was taken in early spring so the plant is just breaking dormance. The redish tips are intersting. I concluded (perhaps wrongly) that its a type of fescue.
