Yup, the 2x4's go right up to the ceiling. The right side of the house is the stairs and 2-story greatroom. I've included a link to the houseplan its based on.
I've attached an interior picture which shows some of the roof trusses from the greatroom.
The septic was exposed all winter. Come to find out, it didn't pass inspection so the one in the pictures was ripped out and a complete new system installed.
The house passed all inspections except for the final. The BI made them rebuild the cellar stairs 3 times [img]/forums/images/icons/smile.gif[/img] and install a fan in the MB toilet room. I guess they figured you would just leave the door open if you were in there! LOL!
You are very lucky they did not build your house. I remember one of the subs telling me that "they had heard this was the worst roofing and siding job of all the WW homes". That really hurt.... [img]/forums/images/icons/frown.gif[/img]
