    Self-Build Packages

Has anyone had any experience with the following self-build packages:

    A.) Wolohan Lumber
    B.) 84 Lumber
    C.) Sutherland's

The Sutherland's looks to be around $1K less than the others for comparable packages. How good are the blueprints that they all reference are?

I guess I am just looking for anyone's experience with these building packages. Thanks.

I've know 2 friends that used Sutherlands and the final product turned out fine, but it was more work than they thought. They commented that the plans were good, but having some building experience is definitely a plus. Took them about a month of weekend work to get their barns done.

Where the barns metal or wood? If metal, did they bolt up or weld?

These were wood frame barns with exterior metal siding panels. All main framing attachent was bolted, with nails and screws used too for sidewall framing and exterior panels.
If you prefer an all metal building, they are typically a bolt together deal, but they do require some construction skill - for the larger ones that is!
