The house slab in the basement finally got poured this week. The foundation walls were poured in late June so there have been several delays with the contrator (due to another job). Hopefully the first floor trusses will arrive the week after next so they can be installed by the framing crew. Then the house should really take off. Here's a photo the slab being poured.
