I got quite a surprise yesterday. When I got up from my chair yesterday afternoon, just as I put my bare feet to the floor I saw a snake about 2 foot from my feet. It was about 20" long. It did not survive the confrontation. I didn't even have to change my shorts. [img]/forums/images/icons/grin.gif[/img] JIM
Reminds me of when my daughter and her husband lived in Dallas. She would get up early and dress in the dark, so her husband could sleep.
While standing at the closet on the carpet, she thought she was standing on a belt, but the belt started to move. She realized it was something alive, and lept on the bed screaming. Needless to say, that her husband did awake that morning.
We have a house cat that was once an outdoor cat in the woods of Vermont. It isn't 20 inches long but here is what she brought my wife yesterday. She caught it in the basement and had to show it off. The snake is hard to see on the rug but she sure was proud.
