We're trying to decide whether to have a house stick-built on site, or to buy a Canadian Ready-To-Move (RTM) house. The RTMs seem to make a lot of sense in our situation, as a contractor will have to travel some distance to our site, plus the RTM builders seem to offer a lot of options (as long as you stay under 34 to 36 feet wide). We've even seen some 2 story RTMs.

If you have a RTM, I'd be curious to know of any pitfalls you encountered.
