    Opps! ... sometimes I do miss the forest by standing in this grove of trees .. yes .. and this was such a Genuine and straight forward question that Boondox ask ... but I guess I now know how and why books get written on such matters …

    It also reduces rod loading. But that doesn't answer Pete's question.

    For the price and proposed use I think he would do fine with the compressor he mentioned.
