I have a old parlor stove,
It has DERBY OAK and the # 13
in raised letters written on it.
The whole stove is aprox. 40" high
with alot of ornate gingerbread on it.
Does any one know anything about this stove.

Can you post a picture? In a week, I will be able to talk to a friend who does know about old stoves, and I will ask him about yours. He is elk hunting in NewMexico at the time.
Here is a pic
Try PIC again this should work
I don't know anything about it, but a guy up the street from me might...here is a link to his website, he buys/sells/restores antique stoves.

He doesn't do appraisals, b ut has links to someone that does. If you are not looking for an appraisal, but information instead, maybe he could help.
I might be wrong, but that looks like a stove used on old passenger trains. If it was for "1st class" accomodations, the number could be the train nmber.
