Much harder to keep track of freely roaming deer. I don't think they can stop it in a wild population.
The problem is that there is too much misinformation and not enough fact. I've had people tell me that all you have to do is cook your meat well enough and that'll take care of it. At the same time, I seem to remember the British burning a lot of cows and then realizing the protien was still in the ashes. Makes me not know what to do.
