Planting Times?

I live in central Florida where it is strawberry season. Being it is warm march - october, I need some advice on when to plant differant veggies. WHen is tomato, melon, cucumber and corn season in warmer climates?

If you get a frost, count back from the frost date, the number of days on your seed packets from transplant to full maturity. Don't forget the time you will need to get them to transplant size. You may also want to look at the amount of sun they will require per day.

I can't help you with Fla planting times, but you may want to call your local cooperative extension. The # should be in your phone book. They will give you free advice. You may also want to join. Here in NY, I pay about $10 for 3 years and they send my monthly and bi-monthly newsletters.
