Heirloom seed companies

Anyone have recommendations on particular heirloom seed companies that they have dealt with before? I have done a search on google and come up with quite a few companies, but looking for any particular recommendations as opposed to just picking one randomly.

    Thanks in advance.

I like FEDCO in Maine. They aren't a heirloom specialist, but they do have a good selection of both heirloom and locally grown seed. I've always gotten excellent quality seed from them and their prices are very fair. High Mowing Seeds in Vermont also has some good seed, especially their tomatoes.

    Here's a link to Fedco's website: http://www.fedcoseeds.com

I've had good luck with Seed Savers Exchange, they have all heirlooms seeds of high quality.

I use Seeds of Change. They sell only certified organic seeds and most are heirloom. I've no one to compare with but am happy with their seeds. My germination rate was around 99% last year. I using "leftover" seeds this year so it will be interesting to see if the seeds germinate as well. Generally we love the produce. Seeds of Change
