Those are nice pictures Rich. Too bad you have the date displayed to kind of cheapen the look.

Most digital cameras contain EXIF information which has the date in embedded in the file. That way you can always retrieve the date if you needed without having to have it on the picture.

I like having the date displayed that way on my pictures; something I always did with my Nikon 35 mm camera (that feature could be turned off, but I never did). However, I've not figured out a way to display the date that way on my pictures with the Olympus digital camera. Unless I change the name, I can always tell the date from the file name, but if I could get it to display in the picture, I'd sure do it.

You can also see the date from the EXIF tags that are included with the picture file. Here's a sample of all the EXIF data.
