    snow rollers

    I didn't know what these were called until I saw them on the news. They're created from the wind blowing the snow and making it roll up like a pumpkin roll. Some are a foot in diameter.

    Excellent shot, Derek! Remember those little suckers; they're pretty rare! And that's about the best shot I've ever seen of one.

    The humidity/moisture content in the snow and windspeed has to be just right.A rare weather occurence.
