    BBQ season is upon us

    and I'm not waisting any time smoken and BBQ'n [img]/forums/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

    Has anyone had any experience with goat meat ?

    I will be acquiring a goat maybe next month thru a deal this weekend and I was thinking of cutting it in quarters and grilling it...

    I need some ideas as this will be my first time with this.

    Never barbecued a goat myself, but I've sure helped eat some of them. [img]/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif[/img] Just as good as beef in my opinion.

    I have had it in stew but I bet it would be great smoked. Are you going to post some BBQ recipes? I am always looking for something new.

    Hi Steve, I guess I could post some, but I really don't do anything by the book [img]/forums/images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

    I was thinking of smoking the goat after putting a dry rub on it. I was thinking that it might be like cooking lamb or venision.

    I did find a great site that has a lot of basic recipies that would work well as a base to build to taste www.allrecipies.com
