    Iron Removal from Well Water

Has anyone had any experience using these oxidation/filter iron removal systems? They inject a small amount of air into the water to oxidize the iron and then use a filter to remove the oxidized iron.
Amtrol makes one called "Provectr" and McClean makes one called "ChemFree".

I have a Hague water filter system and I had them fill mine with C-266 Resin (along with a couple others), which is supposed to remove all heavy metals, including iron. It seems to work - I don't get iron deposits on my appliances any more.
