Best place to Live?

I love SE Ohio because of the natural beauty of the hills, very low cost of living & laid back lifestyle.
The down side is minimal employment possibilities.

What type of activities do you like and do you require employment in a specific field may also affect your choice of locations.

My personal choice would be the New England states area.
