Well, actually Mom and Dad were alone at the property. Joyce and I do the "money thing" in Houston and the attack was on a Friday - so we were at work at the time. I'm pretty sure I set some kind of record though, as we were on the road within the hour and headed to Victoria.
Got to go back to the "job site" this past weekend. Grass was big time deep so we spent the first few hours reclaiming the grounds. Next on our to-do-list was an inventory of what we had in the way of lumber, nails, etc. Joyce and I will be "raising the roof" ourselves over the next couple of weekends. Should be fun.
