Thanks CJ - good suggestions! I'm going out tomorrow to work on the 'Bota Hut (pet term for King Canopy tractor garage). Had a bit of wind this last week and I need to secure the side poles better. I'll take a good look at the well while I'm there and see what I can come up with.

Maybe you could set some used railroad ties at grade level and lag your building down to them. As long as the building isn't big enough to present a big surface for the wind to work on, the ties might have enough weight to hold it down.
