40 C is hotter than normal for this part of the country. Average summer temps are usually between 34-36 C, which is 94-98 F. Seems the weather man said we have had some record high temps the past few days and I believe it. The humidity here in S.E. Texas is killer... higher at night but not a lot better during the day.
