    Low Budget Greenhouse

I am trying to start a Tree Farm and am learning more and more each year. This fall I am going to plant some seeds and found these plans for a low budget greenhouse. I began my project today and thought I'd share some of the pictures of it.

The greenhouse will be 6x20 and have a 3' high hooped roof made of 3/4" PVC pipe.

I started with one 2x8x12 and four 2x8x10's. I cut the 2x8x12 in half to create to 6' pieces for the ends.

I cut a 45 degree angle on one end of each of the 2x8x10's and nailed them together to create the 20' sides.

Now is a good time to show my handy-dandy nail holder. I got this idea from Family Handyman Magazine. I just cleaned out an old liquid detergent container with a box cutter and presto.

Using computer labels I just stick them on the back. I have a few of these in my garage with different sized nails. Sure beats trying to carry around boxes of nails everywhere.

I put down some weed block and then nailed the corners together to create the open box.

I then attached 1" conduit hangers about every 34" to hold the 3/4" PVC piping.

This is one end of a 10' piece of PVC piping inserted through the two hangers.

I then added some 16 gauge wire to the tops to keep the pipes a bit more sturdy.
