I almost hate to suggest a new forum, but I will anyway. I'd like to see one dedicated to solar, or else solar and electric. There seem to be a lot of posts regarding these and I'd be interested.
By the same token, and I don't want to start a fight, it looks like there are a couple of forums that could be deleted or combined together.
I'd check out a solar / electricty forum if it were there. Also don't want to ruffle any feathers, but there are some forums that I rarely, if ever, visit. Not gonna name names, though. My tastes aren't often in line with everyone else's (thank goodness [img]/forums/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]).
If I'm not to late to "ring in" in favor of solar as a topic, here 'tis...

Might consider all other alternative energy sources like hydro, wind, dung-to-methane-to-gas-lights, even standby generators, and maybe plain old GRID TIE electrical stuff if alternative alone is too low usage to justify a separate topic.
Whatever works, I'm for it.
