Here is a shot of some tracks by one of my ponds. The shoe in the picture is size 13 included for scale. So what left these tracks, Big Bird? I suspect it isn't a Velociraptor. Maybe a great blue heron? They don't look quite turkey to me.

I'd say it's a turkey.
gsganzer, Could easily be turkey as we have a cou[ple flocks of 20 or more that wander between me and the neighbor to the south.

I'd vote turkey also...we saw a ton of them at the deer lease this weekend...wet spring made for a bumper crop of yearlings it appears!
Gsganzer....Denton huh?...Flower Mound here....and Bird is from Lewisville....small world it seems!!
Turkeys and coons....
Interesting combo you have there, Pat.

Bluegrass Music ...
Finger-pickin' good!
5string, There were also armadillo and some canid tracks. likely coyote but not neccessarily in the picture I posted. We are crawling with coons. They literally dot the roadside with their carcasses, one way to estimate their numbers. They leave tracks all around my house building site every time there is a sprinkle of rain to allow a lasting impression.

The shoe is blue, but I don't think it's a heron.
A turkey with blue shoes!

Hey! Aren't you supposed to be working?
Gary, Careful with the mud slinging as I seem to have a lot more ammunition than you.
Pat

Maybe you should package the mud as an Oklahoma Facial!
