    Took about three years to forever to build. No contractors and bought materials paycheck to paycheck. For instance, the kitchen cupboards were purchased as 2x6, 2x4 and 1x4 inch spruce and then converted to their present form.

    We moved to Nova Scotia in 99.

    I too like the picture of the Kubota. New and shinny as compared to it's present state of looking well used. But well used or not it still runs the same after 2200 hours.

    Very nice place. Did you do the Pavers and tile work also ? In the one room with the cedar logs are those trees you cut or did you buy those like that. I really like the way that looks can you tell me how you did that ? Dave

    The logs were a precut package. All the pavers and tile work was done by ourselves.

    Were they just nailed or glued to the wall or are they T&G ?
