    driveway rake

I'm looking to rake a 450' gravel (3/8" stone) driveway and the only equipment I have is a Scotts (Deere) lawn tractor. I need to attach a rake and wonder if anyone has seen such a rake (nothing on the Deere site) or have any home-made ideas?? driveway is currently getting awfully bumpy and starting to pothole...Thanks!

I don't think you're going to have much luck. The lawn tractor is too light and underpowered to pull anything that will do any good.

However, on the assumption that something is better than nothing, you might try looking for a small straight blade rather than a rake. I know they're out there, try Northern Tool

Kip, I don't know anything about your tractor or the grade of your road, but for many years I maintained my drive by pulling bed springs with a small David Bradley Suburban (sears) tractor.
