Driveway Options.

Saw your post and was just wondering how your shale driveway was holding up? I'm getting ready to use shale on my new 1000' driveway. Anyone else use shale? Did you use Mirify fabric?

I didn't see this first or would have replied here instead of private message. Bottom line... I did not use any fabric. I was very pleased with the shale. Mostly fist sized chunks but breaks down and makes a good smooth surface with exposure to traffic. I have done more shale and will probably NOT topcoat with crushed limestone. I prefer the shale after it breaks up and packs down.
