That is really begining to look like a house. In my opion its the best looking house I've seen lately. Looks like Bud has a good looking friend to share the pond with. That sure looks nice around the pond. Sure made a differance there cleaning it up. Good job D & D.
Thanks for all the wonderful pics.!!!!!
You are indeed the golden child.
The next three were taken today. As you can see the roof is complete, doors and windows are in, soffits are almost done (ran out of supplies), the gable ends have the vinyl siding on (the front and rear porches will be vinyl siding to, but we ran out of that as well), flood lights (500 watt halogen switched from inside) are installed in the back and side gable ends.
What you can not see in these pics is the completed HVAC rough in and almost all of the wires have been pulled. We have not started installing plugs or switches as of yet. Next week we will finish the outside stuff (brick layer will not be here until the end of May ), finish the electrical rough in and start on the plumbing.
So, with out further delay, here is the back of the house.
This is the parking pad outside the garage, its 24' long by 20' wide. The sidewalk is going off to the right hand side.
We're about to do the same thing at our house.
We just want a concrete pad large enough to park two cars, side by side. The other 230 feet of driveway is gravel.
Now that we've lived here exactly one year, I've had enough of the scraps of OSB leading to the front door and I want a REAL sidewalk. It's coming next week!
