I'll start by saying I try to avoid watching commercials on TV. But I want to try using the sponsors/ advertisers on this site. It seems, though, that they come and go at random. If I don't click on their link immediately, I may not see it again. Is there a way to search for a sponsor, or by their product, on the site?

I guess you are referring to the Google AdSense links? Those are links from Google that use the words on that particular thread to determine what sponsor ads display.
Whenever the subject of "searching" for something on the internet comes up, my first thought is going to Google.

So they are random, and Muhammad has no control or list of them?
The ads change based on the discussion topic. Sometimes there are more than four ads per topic, so you'd have to refresh that page a couple times to see it again.

I don't want to speak for Muhammad, but I think the answer is YES, he has no control.

We can block any ads we want but no, we don't get a list of all displayed ads.
