Not only a very well made stool, but nice millwork detail on the baseboard and stairs as well.

The stairs date back to 1934.

Well done Egon and I'll second Hank's comment on the millwork. 1934, how about some more pictures sometime?

Wow! You don't look that old in your picture! Must be something in the water.

The house be a little older than I. I am only 61 years old. It was built from lumber milled from the owners woodlot. We are the third owners.

Solid floor beams, 1 inch wood on the roof, floors and walls, lathe and plaster interior, oak and maple floors on the first two floors aside from the second level bathroom and joy of joys some good old wiring hidden behind the walls. Replacement is being contemplated.

The previous owners made extensive modifications. Altered the roof on one side to convert the attic into a master bedroom and redid the kitchen. Insulated and placed new vinly siding on outside. Added a deck out back and had a landscaper do the yard.

It has a paved U driveway which goes behind the house and has two street exits. Parking for two or so vehicles in the backyard. No garage but had a basement drive in garage which now is home to sawdust producing equipment. There is also a garden shed and kiln shed in the back yard.

    Very nice, Egon.
I like the bench leg details.

If you only knew Gary you'd be making a different statement.
